Almost square at 2 3/4 x 3 x 1 1/4 thick. Dark blue plastic. No scratches in the plastic or metal parts. The speaker grill has a dent that is hard to see, but you can feel it. Inside it looks dusty, but it plays. The volume is weak however. The 9-volt battery contacts are not corroded. T used to be a carrying lanyard, but it is in tatters now and would display better without it. The carrying case is a very thin black leather, or leather-like material, that conforms to the radio. This is what probably what kept the scratches away. Altogether rather unusual looking radio, like many Sonys of that era.
