SONY TAPECORDER TC-666D REEL to REEL This listing is for a Sony Tapecorder Reel to Reel, Model TC-666D. Appears to be NOS (New Old Stock). Not sure if this was ever taken out of the original box. All original packaging is in place. All original instruction manual, warranty card, cables etc. included. All switches move as intended. Note: I did not take this out of the box in order to preserve the originality. Not tested but appears to be real nice shape. Good chance it will work as intended. I listed this as used since I can not be 100% sure that this was never actually used. Dust cover is cracked and broken in a few places. Piece of the dust cover is missing. This in the only thing that is broken from what I can tell. In storage a very long time. Bid now to own a unique piece of recording history. These are the specs I was able to find: Solid State made 1968 I believe.4-track,2-channel stereo.2 head model with combined rec/play.Speed: 3-3/4 and 7-1/2.Auto-reverse and belt-driven capstan.Frequency response: 20~21,000Hz at 7-1/2.: 20~15,000Hz at 3-3/4.Kind of rare model, not many around This model was reviewed in the February 1969 edition of Audio Magazine.
