'Sorrow' This piece was a study for a larger figure that was created in a series. Evocative of emotion and expressive through the gesture of the form. Signed Milon Townsend, 2000. 3.25" x 2" x 2" This sculpture is a unique piece that Milon created in his studio - it is not available through any of his representing galleries. Milon Townsend has been making artwork in glass for over 35 years. Self-taught, he has created a vast body of work, from perfumes and paperweights to fine one-of-a-kind sculptures. His training in classical music was instrumental in his tendency to create objects with form, balance and harmony.
