Up for auction is a Sound devices 442 field mixer. I acquired this mixer almost a year ago and send it to the manufacturers and they updated various components and the firmware to the most recent version, they also retrieved the serial number that had come off (the serial number is printed on a paper label) and I have had engraved on the bottom of the mixer. The initials R.S were painted on by a prior owner. I learned after I received the mixer back from Sound Devices that they could have re-cased the mixer for a fee. If you need a production mixer this is a very good one. One thing I learned after I acquired this mixer is that there was a menu system in the mixer that you can adjust various parameter with.
