Ever felt the urge to have a Knight Rider animated light pattern on your guitar (!!!) ...well with this cool simple guitar LED mod you can!! Here's a brief video which shows the animating LED patterns... (I'm a techie...not a video producer, trust me ...this product is far better in the flesh!) This is NOT a guitar pickup ..but is actually a mock pickup intended for an empty/unused/unwanted pickup position - e.g. some guitarists make little use of their middle pickup, so this device would be a great substitute to attain visual impact instead .....some guitarists own/use numerous guitars - each with its own dedicated purpose/role ...this LED mock pickup could be installed on one specific guitar just to give the audience a little unexpected surprise for a couple of numbers etc.) LED COLOURS AVAILABLE ...RED, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE, ORANGE & YELLOW (pink not stocked, but can be ordered. ...purple leds do not give off sufficient light output, so aren't offered) if you want sound to light animating LEDs like this on your guitar, but don't want to give up an actual pickup position to install, then I can also offer just the circuitboard/kit for you to fit and thereby locate the LEDs wherever you wish on your guitar - just drop me a line via Ebay's 'contact seller.' The outer cover can be black, white, cream (or I can fit into any pickup cover you supply me with) with six bright LEDs built in (your choice for the colour) ...the LEDs can be either used 'Sound to Light' (where the LED brightness tracks your string/strum strength) or else in animating patterns There are several LED 'patterns' to choose from as follows... 1. Sound-to-Light 'Normal fade' ...all LEDS light up together, with the LED intensity related to your string/strum strength, LEDs fade smoothly - suits laid back playing 2. Sound to Light 'Fast fade' ...as above but LED the leds extinguish faster - this pattern suits rhythm or faster lead guitar vs pattern 1 above. 3. Sound to Light 'Gated' ....use this pattern to whack drum on your guitar in time with your drummer (mute your strings with your fingering hand and pat your strings with your picking hand - the guitar's LEDs light up fast and then go out fast - the end result is a strong flash of light in time with your 'beat') 4. Sound-to_Light ....VU/Bargraph meter effect .......the harder you pluck/strum the strings, the more LEDs light up serially & in sequence - similar to volume level indicator LEDs on a mixing desk. 5. ALL LEDs ON .. permanently on & useful for dark stages to shed a bit of light on your proceedings (e.g. to assist seeing your amp/footpedal setting onstage etc) 6.
