SOUTH AFRICA 1953 QEII CORONATION GUTTER SHEET OF (120) x 2d STAMPS WITH VARIETIES (**) Stunning South Africa 1953 QEII Coronation Gutter Sheet (Cylinder 66) of (120) x 2d deep violet-blue stamps (SG 143) in unmounted mint condition (MNH). The Sheet has the following constant Varieties - on (R1/12) "Blue mark above upper lip and below chin" , on (R2/18) "Defective (smudged) letters of POSSEEL and POSTAGE" , on (R4/8) "Violet mark extending to the right of '1' of 1953" , on (R5/20) "White screen scratch running downward to the right from 'D' of SUID" and on (R6/1) "Blue dot in right arce of 'O' of SOUTH" - Close up scans provided of each Variety stamp. The scans show the left , middle and right thirds of the Sheet as the Sheet is too large to scan as one. I have also added a scan of a large portion of the gum side of the Sheet so that you can see what it looks like. The Sheet has previously been folded and has some split perfs around the edges.
