You are bidding on a signed and numbered limited edition Southern Railway Centennial lithographic print entitled, "Steam's Final Hour". On June 17, 1953 - 123 years of steam power on the Southern Railway came to a close as Ms-4 Class heavy Mikado No. 6330 entered Citico Yards, Chattanooga, TN. This Centennial print is signed by the last two surviving members of the 6330's crew. The print is on 80# Lustro-Saxony paper stock. It was printed on a four color Heidleberg press. The print's image area measures 12" x 20" while the overall sheet size measures 18" x 24". The crewmen's signatures are on each side of the Centennial herald. The edition size is limited to 750 signed copies and comes with a history sheet describing the events of the day and a Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be mailed in a heavy tube.
