SOUTHWEST RAKU POTTERY WITH TURQUOISE NUGGET HAND THROWN BY ARTIST JERMEY DILLER This Southwest Raku pottery was hand thrown by artist Jeremy Diller. The pottery features a turquoise nugget and beads attached to the neck of the vase. This vessel was fired in an outdoor kiln at 2000 degrees F. Molton hot, it is placed in a pit with dried brush and mesquite shavings that burst into flame. Ambient temperature, wind, and the unique way flames lick a piece each time assure that each Raku piece is one of a kind. The vase measures approximately 3.25" tall x about 2.25" diameter at the widest point around. The opening at the top is just over 1.5" diameter and the base is .75" diameter. T are no chips or cracks. COMBINED SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE! (Other listings by this artist are available this week.)
