This beautiful concho belt was made by well knocn silver smith Pepe Rachon. He has made belts or buckles for President Bill Clinton and actor Steven Segal. He was a silver smith at the New Buffalo Commune in the Nineteen Sixties and at The Mable Dodge House in Taos, New Mexico. The belt is made from Sterling Silver ingots, hand hammered into shape, with hand done design work. It weights a total of 49 troy ounces including the leather. T are eight conchos 3 3/4 x 3 3/8inchs, the buckle is 3 1/4 x 2 1/8inchs. The total belt length is 50inchs. It is a very nice looking piece of southwestern style silver work.
