Offered for your consideration is an original Soviet Army Kursant's (Kursant is a Officer cadet) summer parade uniform set. Set includes matching jacket (with decorations), trousers, and hat!. Uniform is a small size. A Russian size 46-2, or a US size 36 short. Will fit a man with a 28-30" waist, up to a 36" chest, and a height of 5'5"-5'7". Jacket measures 24" sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff, 16" shoulder-to-shoulder, and pants measure 36" in length from top to bottom. This uniform is made from wool twill fabric, with a synthetic silk lining. It is a dark olive green in color. The jacket has all the correct Kursant insignia, such as shoulder boards, and sleeve patches. There are 4 Kursant stripes on the left sleeve, denoting this Officer Canidate was in his senior year of academic training. Jacket also comes with parade shoulder aiguillette over the right shoulder, and the following badges/decorations: "Otlichnik (honored pupil) of civil defense of the USSR", "Excellent soldier of the Soviet Army", "3rd class proficiency badge", and Komsomol "VLKSM" pin with Lenin's portrait on the front. Hat is a 1991 manufacture, shows some minor wear to the front of the sweat shield (see photos), is marked a Euro size 56, or a US size 7.
