You are looking at a Pair of 1946 Illinois License Plates #651 695. These were made of a soy composite during the war years to conserve metal.I am selling these to scale down my personal collection. ALPCA #1820. The plates are in Very Good condition. White digits on a Maroon background. Both plates are straight and solid with no extra holes, they are only slightly warped. The mounting holes show some wear. The paint is in great condition with very little fading and only minor wear. A good clean set of 46's!These plates are all original and have not been repainted or re-conditioned in any way. The picture shows the condition. I can e-mail more pics if you request and I will be available to answer any questions you might have. Check out my other plate auctions. I discount shipping for multiple wins. I will invoice the winning bidder after the sale. I prefer Paypal, but will accept a Money Order or Certified check. I will ship as soon as paypal payment shows or when I receive check.
