This is a hand cast resin beany cap for the Monogram 1/72 scale orbiter. It features accurately shaped and sized windows and will greatly enhance the appearance of your space shuttle. Item features: Accurate shaped and sized window frames compared to grossly oversized original Monogram plastic parts. Engraved tile detail around windows and top of cap. Star Tracker ports with engraved tile detail in the ports. Optical quality glass panes for the windows (22mm by 22mm microscope slide covers) Window frame template to assist in cutting the window panes to shape. Comprehensive instruction sheet. Disclaimers/Cautions: This in a " unfinished " product, intended for experienced modelers. This is a hand poured, " garage industry " resin product. It may contain minor molding flaws, such as air bubbles. This is normal and the modeler should be prepared to deal with these as needed. The piece is molded in relatively thick resin to ensure proper curing during the molding process. As a result, it has to be thinned in spots as needed by careful sanding, and the kit parts trimmed and modified to ensure a proper fit.
