This cabinet photograph is 4" x 7¼" and has some soiling, please check all the photos provided with this listing. The phot was made by H. I. Ostebee in Beaumont, Texas. On the back of the card is neatly written in lovely penmanship: "Eldon Moran Chester Quartermaster Sergeant, Co. D. 3rd Tex. Infantry, United States Volunteers. Enlisted May 5, 1898 served during the Spanish American War and was awarded an Honorable Discharge Oct. 17, 1898. Regimental Motto 'Remember the Maine To Hell with Spain". First Class Postage will be $2.50 for anywhere in the U.S.
