SPARKLING CYANIDE BY AGATHA CHRISTIE FIRST UK EDITION, FIRST PRINTING IN THE HARD TO FIND DUST JACKET Collins (The Crime Club), London. 1945. A Very Good copy (mildly askew, sunning at spine ends, foxing to page block edges and intermittent small foxing spots to page margins, light shelf wear, prior seller's stamp and small paper remnant to front pastedown) in a Very Good dust jacket with the proper 8/6 price (some general wear, small repairs with taped-on matching green paper to spine head and tail, to top of one flap fold, and to small hole where rear panel meets the spine, some internal tide marks, handling soil). This is the last of Christie's novels to feature Colonel Race. (Originally a Hercule Poirot short story ("Yellow Iris") published in the "Strand Magazine", Christie expanded the story to produce the novel, omitting Poirot and changing the culprits' identity.) Copies of this Christie First Edition in the original dust jacket are not common. 00001860. Overseas bidders responsible for any customs or similar charges.
