Give them nothing; but take from them EVERYTHING!" -King Leonidas, 300 This is a handmade replica of the capes worn by the Spartan soldiers in the movie 300. Although the fabric is not exact, the basic form of the cape is, the back of the cape authentically comes across the nape of the neck rather then gaping down, it is complete with the brown straps that cross in front and meet in back plus gold brooch. Also included is wolf's tooth pendant worn by Queen Gorgo and King Leonidas. This is NOT just a hemmed rectangle of fabric. And its not just the brooch but the complete cape part of the costume! Fabric is crimson flannel, soft and cozy, with a nice weight to it. Cape is 43 1/2 inches wide and 44 1/2 inches long unpinned , and can be hemmed shorter if so wished before I send it. All edges on cloak are roll hemmed as neatly as possible on my personal sewing machine. 73 inch long strap is made of dark brown cloth and is sewn into the top of the cape. It can be crossed across chest in front or under arms like a gun holster or any way you'd like. It can be tied or pinned in back to adjust to your size. Brooch is 2 3/4" by 3 3/4", made of hand carved oven baked clay with two pins lodged securely in clay and hot glued to back, painted bronze and aged/detailed with black paint, and sealed.
