This Blazing Saddles Special "WILD-POSTING" One-Sheet Artist Proof was one of them. The poster comes with a Certificate of Authenticity written and signed by John Alvin (see photo #4). It clearly states that this poster was printed at the very beginning and that he personally saved and signed it. This poster design (as well as the film) is right at the top of the list for the best in comedy - of all time! WILD-POSTING is a term used by the advertising industry that describes a method of poster distribution. Posters would be pasted up around large cities - On dead walls, construction sites, etc. Posters made for wild-postings are the rarest of all because, unlike movie theater posters, they were only used once and then destroyed by the glue.
