Midland Bank Limited, Ellesmere Port, 1911 - by Duty Stamp (not used until 1936) Imprint:- Blades East & Blades, London. Watermark:- The London City & Midland Bank Limited. A most unusual cheque where the following features have been deleted by overprinting with a horizontal printed red line . From top right - Edge Hill Branch , Liverpool , The London City & , North & South Wales Bank Branch, 1A Wavertree Road . Having deleted Edge Hill Branch a stamped overprint Ellesmere Port has been added and repeated adjacent to North & South Wales Bank Branch 1A Wavertree Road.
