Ulla Procope was one of the most famous disigners at Arabia .She devoloped the shapes and glazes in this series of patterns between 1957and 1960. The Ruska pattern was introduced on 1960 and was popular the world over-the most successful pattern in the history of Arabia, remaning in production until 1999. Each piece is hand glazed,resulting in mottled finish with no two pices alike. In Finnish Ruska means " autumn leaves."
