This captivating specimen is one of the rare zeolites. This rare Strontium Silicate only forms in a few locations. These Brewsterite crystals are pristine~!! They are sharp, colorless, translucent and textbook type crystals. As you turn this piece about, the crystals glisten ~! These crystals are blocky to prismatic and are similar in form to Tourmaline. The matrix is tan in color and only visible on the underside, while all the crystals formed on top. Without using magnification, you can easily see these gemmy crystals are well terminated~! The terminations are flat and just about as wide as the crystals are long. The widest termination is .4 cm while the longest crystal is .5 cm. Some crystals grew straight up while others lean at a 45 degree angle. The quality of the majority of these super rare Brewsterite crystals is remarkable~!!
