Spectrum 82596 Narrow Gauge 0-4-0 Side Tank Porter - Colorado Mining Co.I purchased this new from an online store. I stored it for a couple of yearsbefore opening the box. I had planned to build a garden railway in a yearor two, but I'm not going to get around to it.I tested it, and although the motor ran, it didn't move. So I opened up thegear box to find that the main drive gear had broken in half. This is how itcame to me. I tried to find a replacement gear at Bachmann, but it appearsthat these models have been discontinued and the replacement gears are nolonger available. So I repaired this myself. It now runs very nice as it should.I have a mold of the gear should you ever need another gear, I can cast oneor more for you.I guarantee that this model runs as it should. Model is as new other than therepair mentioned above.
