Edit: I ran the model at my LHS's test track, Monday February 7 2011, and it ran really good.Up for sale is an HO-scale Bachmann Spectrum Norfolk and Western class J #611, the excursion variant. Spectrum #82103. Model ran quite well when I last ran it about four years ago, I'll make trip to local hobby shop first thing Monday to test it out for sure, though I've found with many locomotives they will run just fine even if stored for long periods of time. Model is not missing any parts. I even added a set of Cal-Scale brass air, steam and signal lines plus a Kadee #58 coupler on the rear. I painted the lead, trailing and tender trucks Polly-Scale engine black and honestly liked much the results as they look much less like shiny plastic now. At one point I modified the stock draw-bar to function as a plain, reliable draw-bar much like what you would get in a typical model. I drilled two holes in plastic piece to retain draw bar so that you have options for how close you want your model coupled together. I painted inside of cab a light green much like the prototype cab and repainted engineer and fireman figures. I also painted back-head Polly-Engine black and gauge faces white. I also painted underside of tender Polly-Scale engine black as well. Model is DCC ready and will be real simple to install a decoder into. At one point I added read more
