Welcome to Classique Jewellery Description This is a handsome pocket compass from, I should say the 1940's, although it is in a very nice, very clean condition. Printed 'FOREIGN' to the dial, these charming things tended to originate from GERMANY. Usually BRASS, this example is in a splendid, very clean CHROME or Rhodium, showing NO wear, rubbing or loss of plating. It measures just 3.5 cms in diameter, 5.2 cms including its lanyard ring. This appears to be in an excellent working condition. It is also in a superb cosmetic condition, showing a wonderful and pleasing patina, with NO wear, rubbing, damage or flaw.
