STUNNING ART- NOUVEAU CLOCK IN BRONZE. CIRCA 1890-1920. THIS CLOCK HAS ALL OF THE ELEMENTS OF BACK TO NATURE THAT WERE THE HALLMARKS OF THE ARTS AND CRAFTS MOVEMENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AROUND 1890... This beautiful clock is made of bronze or spelter and is original to the time period. The face and bezel, etc are all original, but the winding mechanizim has been replace with a battery - so no winding every eight days. The original mechanism is still present, should one want to reconvert. The clock itself is just beautiful and seems to keep perfect time! This is an extraordinary timepiece that should have pride of place in its eventual home! Good Luck Bidding.
