is an exquisite blue transferware plate from Spode. This plate is from their Blue Room Collection. This Christmas plate is the THIRD plate in a series. The picture on the front of the plate is inspired by an early Victorian drawing. Children and an adult in Victorian dress frolic in the snow on their sleds. Snow-covered trees and a house snuggled in the woods complete the picture. A band of holly leaves and berries encircles the rim of this plate. The attention to detail is superb. This treasure is new. It has never been used or displayed. It is clearly marked on the back. This plate measures approximately 8 1/4 inches in diameter. What a delightful addition to your holiday decorating!
