The American Sporting Dog Plates, 10 3/4" in diameter, designed by Marguerite Kivmse and made in England by Wedgwood. Off white with brown image, plate in good condition, slight scratch on border. Probably made in the 1950's -60's. English Setter, one of the best loved hunting dogs, valued for hunting qualities and as companions. Their long coat fits them for colder climates and gives protection in heavy cover shooting. They have a keen sense of smell and are excellent field workers on all game birds.
