For auction a Springfield 1873 Trapdoor Cadet Stock including the metal tip & screw, band springs and butt plate. I believe this is from 1874. Overall there are the expected dings and scratches but no major cracks. based on the sharp corners at the bands, the machining for the lock and the fitting of the butt plate I don't think this stock has been touched. The barrel bedding is also excellent. The butt plate is correct for this stock. Both the cartouche and the proof mark are still visible. The length is approximately 46".
