This is a Soviet made souvenir to commerate the SPUTNIK launch. The base is a map of Soviet Union with 4-X-1957 CCCP on the base. Still affixed to the base is the original price tag. This came with other items from the estate of Robert P. Murskshe who worked for RCA in the U.S. space program. My guess is this was picked up during the time of the Apollo-Soyuz project as the estate had many items related to that project. Please Include $6.00 for priority mail delivery. I will combine items bought within 7 days of each other.
