More Infrormal Sessions. There were several of these records produced that celebrated various Princeton class reunions. This one was organized by tenor saxophonist Jack Howe with assistance from Hank O'Neal. Some of the players my have attended Princeton but this fact is not clear from the notes. I assume Squirrel Ashcraft, piano, was an early graduate of Princeton. Others that may be on this date are Max Kaminsky and/or Jimmy McPartland, trumpet; Bud Wilson, trombone, Ron Hockett, clarinet; Spencer Clark, bass; Doug James drums; Bill Priestley, guitar. Some albums in this series were 10" L.P.'s. I can't identify the musicians on the front cover. Some may be mentioned in the notes on the back cover. These notes to not identify the players as they are written in a letter form and seem to be suggestions of players for the various instruments. These are rare performances of traditional jazz. Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Slight aging on the back cover. Record: Mint Played only 1 time to audition the quality. Visually shows no wear. No surface noise. Plays as new. Audibly checked. 04.04.004
