VINTAGE OLD CONCRETE/CEMENT GARDEN STATUE or DOORSTOP SQUIRREL EATING NUTThis squirrel is about 7 1/2 inches tall and about 7 inches from his "hands" to his tail.He is in the best condition of any of the cement garden statues of a squirrel that I have seen.He has been around a long time and shows some signs of wear--both ears have places where the color has worn off and the cement is a bit rough as do his toes, a few places along the tail also have paint worn off and cement showing through. His face has a few places where the paint is worn off as do his nose, fingers and the nut that he is so carefully holding onto. He is heavy--6 and 1/2 pounds.I have never seen one with the paint (I assume it is the type of paint used on old doorstops) is in such good condition. I don't know why they made him brown instead of gray--maybe so he'd show up better. If you need an interesting old piece for your garden or porch, this wonderful old squirrel will do just fine!!THANKS FOR LOOKING!
