Description Company Name: Compagnie Generale Transatlantique (CGT) - French Line Ship Name: SS Ile de France Ship History: Built in 1926, served as Allied troopship from 1940-45, scrapped in 1959 Description: Interior photos and description brochure for the Ile de France. The 20 page brochure contains photos of: Vesailles Suite (1st class), Chantilly Suite (1st class), first class dining room, children's dining room, theatre, tourist class salon, tourist class smoking room and bar, etc. Center of brochure has a two-page illustrated of the Ile de France.
