This is a hard cover, 192 page, book, with dust cover, and in book-store condition. The book foccuses on the battles between the Waffen SS and the Red Army on the Eastern Front between 1941 and 1945. The book features the actions of key battles such as Barbarossa, Demyansk, Kharkov, Kursk, and Budapest. The SS divisions involved in these battles were Liebstandarte Adolph Hitler, Das Reich, SS-Wiking, and SS-Totenkopf. The riveting text by author, Ian Baxter, is enhanced by 250 photographs which were taken from the albums of soldiers who participated in the war. These photographs convey an impression of the life of a SS stormtrrooper in the front lines during Hitler's crusade against communism. Buyer will pay $2.50 for book-rate shipping within the USA.
