Great collection of memorabilia from one of the most beautiful ships ever built. The SS United States embarked on her maiden voyage in 1952 and t is an original framed photo; matted in red, white, and blue with a black frame and plexiglass. The image area of the photo is approximately 6.5 by 8, the overall frame is 11.5 by 13.5 T is a scale model of the ship, mounted on a wooden base with dust cover. The model measures 12 inches bow to stern and is approximately 2 inches from the waterline to the top of the smokestacks. The base measures 14.5 in. by 3 in. T are a few wear marks on the base and some of the paint is rubbed off from the smokestacks (see close up photo). The model also has a plastic dust cover which is somewhat yellowed with age and cracked at the corners, but it will still keep off the dust. Also included is a double deck of United States Lines playing cards. The cards and case are in near mint condition and include all cards, including the jokers. Selling to settle an estate, sorry, no returns. Ask questions before bidding.
