This is the ST-215 ,... a high speed steam turbine motor. This is a newly designed single stage impulse turbine which is capable of reaching speeds in upwards of 45,000 rpm with approximately 55 psi producing about 25 Watts. It is designed with a unique three vane stator that distributes the pressure evenly against the turbine blades, which drives the 3/16" shaft. The inlet nozzle is designed much like a union joint, meaning you can solder a 1/4" line to the nozzle coupler and still be able to tighten the lock-nut without having to turn your line. The rear 3/4" copper exhaust is designed with the same idea in mind, being able unscrew from the rear cap. The housing is made from Brass tube and is silver soldered together for added strength. The turbine blade is machined from solid Brass bar stock. The stator, end cap and base are made from 6061-T6 Aluminum. The outside of the turbine housing is 1.500" and measures approximately 1.375" long.
