Here is an Awesome set of Historically Important Books Published in 1907 that cover the Complete History and everything associated with St. Clair County Illinois. This is a 2 Volume set that contains over 1170 pages. These are Thick and well done books that are titled, "HISTORICAL ENCYCLOPEDIA OF ILLINOIS AND HISTORY OF ST. CLAIR COUNTY, VOLUME I, ILLUSTRATED BATEMAN-SELBY....VOLUME II ILLUSTRATED WILDERMAN" These large and impressive books measure 11 X 8 & 3/4 inches. These are Hard Cover Books that are in Excellent Condition. The Covers are Solid, the Gold Print is strong and the Bindings are tight. These Books were well preserved and look like they may have been professionally rebound and cover protected many years ago. The Interior pages are Clean and Excellent, like they were barely opened. The Gold on the outer edges of the pages is strong and bright. These Books have Color and detailed maps and over 100 Portraits and Illustrations.there are 38 seperate chapters, such as "INDIAN OCCUPANTS, PREHISTORIC RACES, NATURAL CONDITIONS, EAST ST.
