St. Louis Brewery Icons Stein Hand-crafted in Brazil by the artisans of Ceramarte in 2001, this Lidded Anheuser-Busch / Budweiser "St. Louis Brewery Icons" Stein (CS521) is one of the most unusual steins ever created by Anheuser-Busch, Inc. The St. Louis Brewery Icons Stein showcases three ornamental figures, which adorn the buildings of the Anheuser-Busch brewing complex in St. Louis, Missouri. The icons--the famous A&Eagle, the Bevo Fox and an American Bald Eagle--have long been synonymous with Anheuser-Busch, and symbolize the company's tradition of quality and excellence. The figures on the brewery buildings date back to the early 1900s and can be seen today throughout the brewing complex.Designed by artist Jim Wainwright, this particular stein captures the detail of these immense granite structures set against the backdrop of the building's red brick exteriors. The icons, depicted in deep ceramic relief, have been wiped with an antique glaze to enhance the stein's details and present an Old World appearance.With its unique triangular body, pedastal base, pewter A&Eagle lid and pewter Bevo Fox thumbrest, this 8 1/2 inch tall stein is a wonderful addition to any Budweiser collection.
