Up for your consideration is a scale, O guage, non powered, museum quality model of a 1928 TMER&L (The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company) high speed articulated interurban which ran from Milwaukee to Sheboygan, Milwaukee to Watertown, Milwaukee to Racine and other points within the Milwaukee Electric's vast interurban system. Built by the master craftsmen of St. Petersburg Tram (Russia), this two car articulated model, (numbers 1196/97 and 1198/99) comes complete with the company reference card, (ref 407). The set was the 3rd built out of only 100 manufactured. The model has only been taken out of it's orginal packaging for display purposes and comes complete with all the original boxes, certificate and packing. However in the process of gingerly attempting to free the model from its shipping container, ole butterfingers here broke one of the trolleys, thankfully at its base, and spring from the trolley mechanism. It is only one break and should be fairly simple to repair by a modeler, but it is an issue. (the last photo shows the flaw) If you have any questions whatsoever please contact me before bidding. Model is otherwise in excellent condition, but becaue of the trolley/spring I rated it as very good and is sold as is. The model will be sent via UPS Ground ( insured) to addresses in the continential United States only. read more
