You are bidding on....an AWESOME SET of Pressed Pattern Glass STACKING JARS....Five (5) Pieces of Vintage Glass Apothecary / Soda Fountain Candy Jars which create a VERY IMPRESSIVE STACKED DISPLAY standing 15 1/4" tall. The glass is a SPARKLING CLEAR & SHINEY BRIGHT....hefty, thick and beautifully pressed pattern glass with DIAMOND BAND DESIGN. This set consists of five (5) pieces: Lid with SPIRE-style FINIAL...and three (3) mid-sections measuring 6" x 2 1/4", and the "scarce" HUGE PLATFORM BASE JAR, measuring 6" x 5 1/2" high. There is an EXTRA LID...and I have included it as a BONUS 6th PIECE, so you can mix & match the pieces, as seen in the pictures to CREATE TWO (2) COVERED JARS. The pieces are all made to stack together securely...and is a VERY SOLID DISPLAY PIECE. A fabulous vintage find that would have graced the counter of your neighborhood diner, drug store or soda shop...filled to the top with goodies! It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION, no chips or cracks....seldom found in such fine condition. There are the usual mould marks from the glassmaking process, like bubbles, straw marks, swirls/striations, and a touch of mould roughness here and there around the seams and rims; all characteristics inherent to pressed pattern glass.
