Offered is a rare multi-colored transferware, small pitcher or creamer. This piece features a blue and green transferware scene. T are two different scenes on the body, both in green -- one is of a woman with children, and on the opposite side is a man, two women and a child. Both have structures and foliage in the background. The top rim, inside and out, and the bottom rim are trimmed with a beautiful blue transfer floral vine motif. This piece is unmarked and the maker is unknown, thought it dates circa the early - mid 1800's. This lovely little pitcher is in excellent overall condition with no chips or cracks. T is some minor wear and age coloring and some staining on the interior. It measures 5 3/4 inches in height and 3 1/2 inches from spout to handle. -- A wonderful and rare piece of early Staffordshire -- Please email any questions before bidding.
