Today we have some great Staffordshire Leeds Pottery available, please check our other listings. These are the last of our Leeds Collection. This auction is for a 10" Staffordshire Leeds Featd Edge Creamware or Pearlware Plate. This plate has an interesting Hand Painted Scalloped Cobalt Blue Featd Edge Design. The Plate has a Cobalt Blue Leaf and an Impressed Fish Scale Border. The Fish Scale Design is about 1/2" wide over the whole border inside the cobalt decoration. I could not find any sign of a makers mark. Very unusual and rare design. T is a 1/8" flea bite on the inside rim of the plate under the visable border. T are no chips, cracks, crazing, and no repairs. Very nice unusual design. Made between the mid 1700's until the 1840's, this is over or is fast approaching 200 years old.
