Stainless Steel Cuirass Breast Plate Armor SCA LARP 2nd This Cavalry armor, also known as Cherberg pattern, is made of 17 ga stainless steel. T are two strips of decorative brass on the front to give this plate mail a little more style than the average plate mail available. The edges are rolled, it is well polished and fully strapped. The size is fairly forgiving due to the adjustable shoulder straps. Armor flexes nicely because of leather strips on inside of both front and back that allow vertical movement, and for the armor to flex against the body more easily. Cuirass is shown on a model with a chest of 35" and back neck to waist of 22", but it would be a better fit on a 40-42ish chest. Perfectly legal for SCA heavy list; great for LARP. WARNING: The inside leather articulation is using split leather and it will not hold up long in combat, best to replace it with whole grain leather. This is why I consider it a "2nd".
