Front Page contains Domestic Reports from Hackney, etc. and the Jersey Female Auxiliary Society. and distributing bibles in prison, but found a prisoner had sold bible for money, so had the bible read, etc. Middle Two Pages-- impressive large print in Ethiopian-- 'Fac-Simile of an Ethiopic Letter. Addressed, By Direction of THE LATE KING ITSA TAKLEY GORGES, TO HENRY SALT, ESQ. Consul of His Britannic Majesty at Grand Cairo....... with Translation in English on the second of the two pages.... Back Page-- From the Missionaries in the Society Islands of the Pacific Ocean, dated 1818....From Eimeo, Leeward Island.... From Amboyna, Malaya.....upwards of 800 persons maintained their faith.....and From King Henry (of Hayti)..... Lettersheet folded twice vertically, once horizontally.....paper firm, good quality......bit of edgewear at bottom Folds well as stampless cover......fine to very fine..clean... few pairs of tiny slits,one edge where once
