STAN BERENSTAIN - BUTCHER SHOP PANEL CARTOON ORIG ART 1947 STAN BERENSTAIN (1923 - 2005) was an illustrator and cartoonist, but is of course best known as the co-creator (with wife Jan) of the Berenstain Bears , who were featured in many beloved childrens' books. This is the original art for an single-panel magazine cartoon, exact useage unknown, dated 9-7-47 . The caption reads, "You just plug it in and in a few minutes it's ready to eat." The art is in very good condition with light overall wear and aging. The image area measures approximately 12" x 8".
