This a vintage black and white night time 8x10 photo from November 30 1950 of a Standard gas station on the Corner of Belmont and Elston Avenues in Chicago. The view is from the street and it has two Standard Signs on each side. A "white crown" billboard can be seen on the left and a "red crown" billboard is on the right side of the structure. Some vintage cars can be seen in the background next to the left sign. This picture was found in a basement of an old warehouse in Chicago, and was never published. The photographer was Kelly Powell commercial photographers of Chicago. The contractor for Kelly Powell was Revere Lighting who supplied the lights for the station.
