Stanley No 4 1/2 wide bodied Smoothing plane, VGC This is a very good example of this larger sized smoothing plane. Good length blade, reground and honed ready for use. The handles are beech and are in good undamaged condition. We use international couriers outside Europe , rates should be shown automatically, ask if not shown. EU bidders should note that the plane will come in two parcels by the postal service. Surface mail option is available outside Europe in 2 parcels, could take a while though. We sell a lot of ‘bench’ planes, block planes, rebate & router planes etc. All are stripped, cleaned and examined for cracks etc. The horrible original ‘crackly’ varnish is almost always removed and the handles refinished. All are oiled and reassembled with professionally reground and honed blades. Bodies are repainted if needed whilst stripped down. We have a large stock of most types of components and blades, just ask. Payment to be received within 7 days, unless you request us to hold the item for you.
