Garge sale find. I picked up a Stanley 45 Combination Plane for parts at a sale, and I found these extra bottoms in the box as well. The bottoms were offered from 1885 - 1942 as options with the combination plane, and they were designed to cut hollows or rounds. The earliest bottoms were japanned and did not have the size number cast into them. These two bottoms are newer, as they have a nickel finish and the size number is cast into them. The above information came from Patrick Leach at These bottoms show signs of use consistent with their age, but there is no sign of abuse. I have taken several photos so you can inspect these for damage or signs of stress. The bottoms came in 4 different widths, with the #12 being the largest at 1 1/2". I have done my best to show the condition of this item, but please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like any additional photos or information. US BIDDERS : I prefer flat rate shipping using USPS, and the shipping calculator shows their rate. However, I am willing to work with you to find a suitable carrier. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS : In order to avoid "sticker shock" for international shipping rates, please note the cost. I will gladly ship internationally, but please remember it can be costly. Again, I am quoting USPS flat rate, but I am willing to ship to your preference. REFUNDS
