The knob and tote are rosewood, in nice solid condition and look good. The tote has been nicely retipped with proper rosewood. The nickel on the lever cap is about 20%. The original notched rectangle logo cutter retains a quite respectable 1-1/2" below the slot and is sharp and ready to work. This plane would be a great user. Please allow me to invoice you before you pay . If you live close to New England I'd like to be able to save you some on the shipping cost. Thanks for looking! There will be a few tools that I will sell “as is”, but for the most part you’ll find tools that are clean and ready to use. You may have to sharpen the cutter on a plane, but you’ll be able to see the quality of the tool from the photos. Ihaven’t figured out how to take good photos of something that’s covered in rust, so I generally give my tools a gentle cleaning. I’ll happily ship anywhere in the US, Europe, Australia or Canada. Just be aware that I have to include the percentage Ebay charges on final value fee (which now includes selling price *and* shipping costs).
