Stanley # 62 low angle cabinet makers plane. The plane has some wear due to usage, but no defects such as hanging holes, rust, pitting, initials carved anyw The mouth is in nice condition; the 62 planes are plaged with chips from the mouth due to the low angle of the plane bed for the cutting blade. This one has escaped that fate. Over 95% japanning remains; a small amount of japanning is missing from the rear of the plane. Otherwise the japanning is in fine condition. The throat adjustment cam is present and works fine. T are no cracks or pieces missing from the front knob. The handle does have one long ago tiny tool box encounter sliver missing from the top edge. The finish is very good on both handle and front knob. The sides and bottom of the plane are nicely toned. Nearly all the nickel plating remains on the lever cap; however is is not bright and shiny.
