A beautiful Stanley/Bailey 4 corrugated plane that has no rust or pitting with finish baked on. The rosewood tote and knob have been refinished and have very nice gain and color. The almost full-length Sweetheart blade and chip breaker have no rust and the blade has been sharpened scary sharp using diamond and Japanese wet stones at 30 degrees. There are a few spots of pitting on the bottom of the blade (most of pitting was polished out) but plenty of room for future sharpening. The frog has the large pre-war brass adjusting wheel. The early key hole lever cap is perfect and has no edge problems. Overall, this plane is tuned and shop ready.
