Super clean 5 1/4 Stanley jack plane. Jappaning is 98% original with nice clean luster. No stains or paint splatters. Zero rust its been taken well care of. Blade is near full length, sharp and ready to go. It makes paper thin shavings. The bottom is smooth not corrugated. No chips cracks or anything like that in the body or frog. Mouth is good with no nicks. Tote and knob are rosewood and free of defects. This is not one of those wire brush polished up versions, this is how i bought it 5 years ago. the only thing i do is wipe it down with oil, and 000 steel wool. Lever Cap has no chips in it, something that seems to be common in this design. No pitting or ugly marks, this thing is nice. Has the pat date 1910 behind the frog, "Y" SW trademark on the blade, putting this plane around 1921 or 1922. Overall a top shelf 5 1/4 thats all original. Any questions feel free to ask.
