STAR OF EDINBURGH CRYSTAL SET SIX 8oz DOUBLE WHISKY / OLD FASHIONED GLASSES Description This offer is for Six Large Whisky Glasses "Star of Edinburgh" By Edinburgh Crystal Made in Scotland c.1985 Height ~ 9.5 cm Diameter Top ~ 8 cm Diameter Base ~ 6 cm Capacity ~ 8 fl oz The glasses are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The glasses are clear and bright. This is a superb set of large glasses which will be a superb addition to your growing suite of Star of Edinburgh barware. This is the classic shape and size of glass for a double whisky. This vintage 'Star' is made from heavier crystal better cut when compared to new pieces. 'Star of Edinburgh' has proved one of the worlds most popular crystal patterns. It has never been out of demand since it was first produced as part of Edinburgh Crystal's Connoisseur range. The 'Star' cut is formed from a high quality crystal panel with a superb cut of a complex fan, a fine hob nail panel and a very elegant curved swag. Such a superb design which reflects the light beautifully. These glasses are not signed , two of the glasses still have the original paper label.
